Ghyllside has been renovated to the very highest of contemporary standards. The interior features exquisite custom made furniture, luxurious furnishings & fittings and many paintings and photos by local artists.

The lounge has a Lakeland slate open fireplace. For relaxing after a day out, there is a widescreen TV (with SKY), DVD/CD player and an iPOD dock. Ghyllside has a generous selection of CDs, DVDs, books, games, tourist information, maps and guides.

Ghyllside's gourmet kitchen/dining room is equipped to the highest standard. It includes a MIELE oven and a second combination oven/microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The Italian extendable glass dining table seats six.

The utility area has a separate washer and dryer. There is ample room to dry clothes in the adjacent boiler cupboard.

The ground floor ensuite bedroom sleeps two in bunk beds. The ensuite bathroom contains a powerful shower, a WC and has under floor heating.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is exquisitely furnished with an oriental theme to the furniture. There is queen size bed and ample built-in wardrobe and storage space. The second bedroom has two single beds and a built-in wardrobe and desk. (By prior arrangement, the single beds can be joined to form a super-king (6ft) bed).

The main bathroom is stunning. With views of the fells, the limestone and slate finished bathroom contains a large separate shower, a full size bath, generous storage as well as under floor heating.

The Patio and Garden behind the cottage provide a relaxing place to sit outside and features a table and chairs.

All electricity, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in your rental.

There is parking available for two cars
